Sofya Tsyganovskaya, MD, earned her medical education with honors from the Odesskij Medicinskij Universitet, Ukraine.

Her internship and residencies in obstetrics and gynecology were completed at West Virginia University- Charleston Division.

Before her residency she practiced OB/GYN for 17 years in Ukraine, acting as a chief of staff for last 3 of those 17 years.

She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association.

Her special interests include reproductive medicine, new hysteroscopic procedures, advanced laparoscopic surgeries, and minimizing labor complications. Dr. Tsyganovskaya combines compassion, state-of-the-art medical techniques and education to teach her patients the key for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She takes time to understand each individual patient and their needs and is always willing to discuss all aspects and options of treatment.

Dr Tsyganovskaya speaks English and Russian.

Dr. Tsyganovskaya is a member of the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Staff providing care in obstetrics and gynecology.
